A Glimpse into Kylie's Birthday

No highschool this morning, so the bus ran about 1/2 hour later, so the kids got to sleep in a tiny bit.

Kade got a gift for Kylie, so we let her open that one before school. Whenever someone called throughout the day and asked what she got, she proudly answered, "Nailpolish!" like it was the greatest present in the world.

All washed up after playtime in the bath, and now we are ready for the day.

Lunch time (pancakes) on the counter.

 We went to town in the afternoon and did a few errands.  I had hoped to bring her to the park, but it was still a rather chilly day.

"Cake" time.  Although she had her eyes on the supersize white with pink frosting and flowers cake at the Superstore, I was able to convince her that this was a better choice - and she got Dora popsicles to go along with it. (These cookies tasted like cake and were just the right amount, so it was a good choice!)

Sound asleep after a hard day.

Thanks to everyone else who phoned Ky for her birthday too. She LOVED it . . .except when she finally should and can talk on the phone, she doesn't seem quite as talkative . . .  figures:)
