And then came Saturday. After Marine Land we headed to JM and Becky's where we spent the night. Saturday morning we headed off to TO to take in a Blue Jay's game. This was something Jonathan had wanted to do for quite a while, so when the opportunity came up, we thought we better take full advantage of it. The national anthems were sung by a few representatives of the Calvinist Cadet Corp (hope I got that right) Here they are pictured below - JM in fine form!
It was a very long game - 13 innings, but ended GREAT! The Jays were ahead 3-0 until the 9th inning when Tampa tied the game - which began a series of extra innings. Nothing exciting happened until the top of the 13th inning when Tampa got a run. So it was now or never for the Jays who managed to get the bases loaded and then came the grand slam which made the game 7-4 Toronto. YEAH!
The fans - before the game started.
Kevin and Kate enjoying some popcorn.
Boy, Denise, you really get around.

What a life!! I am beginning to get jealous! Isn't it great what homeschoolers can do when everyone else is in school!! We went to the beach last week and thoroughly enjoyed the lack of crowds! Back to the old grind today though! First day of school, soccer and we survived!! And it was actually a great day!! Great pics! I love the one of you and John and Marine land as well as the ones of the kiddies screaming on the rides=-that includes Jojo!! Love you guys,
