Wow! Do we ever love having this little guy in our family. We are all completely smitten. It is so neat to hear/see my other kids with him. Several times when we've been out and about, people will tell them how lucky they are to have a baby brother. They agree and then tell the person that Karter is SOOO cute!
I love it!!
- continues to grow like a weed. I think he is quite tall for his age - 27" approx. I will have him weighed this week at the doctors. And the result was: 16lbs 14oz!
- is outgrowing his bassinette/basket. He kicks and kicks when he wakes up and all I hear is the creak, creak, creak of the sides of the basket . . . not sure where he is going next b/c I'd rather not set up his crib until we are moved into the new house.
- has graduated to size 2 diapers . . . yah . . . I really stretched the wearing of the size ones b/c I just HAD to finish the box:)
- has several nick names, some of which are: Karter McKoy, Mr. McGillicuddy (some of these are easier to say than to spell!), Muffin Man, my little moof moof,
- loves it in the bumbo now. He sits for quite a while and enjoys the view he has from the upright position.
- is SUPER SMILEY! He has to be in a pretty bad mood to NOT give you a smile. He will smile at just about anyone. He is a very content guy when he has all he needs. You'd hardly know it was the same Karter we had the first month of his life!
- is nowhere near sleeping through the night. In fact I'm pretty sure he is digressing.
- still loves water - bathtime or swimming.
- is starting to enjoy his toys.
- has found his feet and likes them too!
- drools like crazy! He can wet a shirt pretty quick. (though he seems to drool only at certain times - not always, but when he does, he is like a dripping faucet!)
- has his hands in his mouth A LOT! teeth coming? I hope NOT!
- sucks his thumb on occasion . . . but it is still fairly rare. He likes his soother again (though never in the middle of the night!)
- laughs. I love this and so do the kids. If they get him to laugh, they will do the same thing OVER and OVER and OVER. It's pretty cute.
- squeals like a piglet when he is happy. Also super cute.
- likes it outside.
- enjoys watching himself in the mirror.
- loves camping!
- loves being held . . .though doesn't require it.
- is a GIFT!!!

So cute Denise!! He looks like such a funny little boy:) I had to have a good laugh of the video. The background of a big branch Jon was cutting, falling on the bike or something, and then, Kevin and Kade fighting over who gets to make the baby laugh:) That happens in our family....I mean the fighting happens in our family, not the tree falling on things:) Can't wait to see you guys at the cottage:)
