We've been busy these last two weeks doing swimming lessons in town for Kevin and Kade. They both mostly liked it - but Kade more so than Kevin. Kevin was in Level 2 and this being Kade's first year, he was in Level 1. They both did well and learned a lot, and of course had the most fun when they were allowed to jump in - whether off the side or off the diving board. We start off with the boys waiting for their lessons to start.

And the favorite - the high diving board. Kevin didn't hesitate a bit. He'd been gearing up for it for quite a while - their class didn't go to the diving board pool until the second week, so he was good and ready.
. . . falling (very confidently if I may say)
And Kade -who started with the little diving board, but was pretty determined to be as brave as Kevin and do the big one too.
He climbed to the top, looked down, and promptly said,"I don't want to do this!". So his teacher came up and gave him a bit of encouragement, and he did it (though he looks a little frightened). He was so proud of himself, and couldn't wait to tell Kevin.
