It was a sunny and warm Sunday and we decided it was the perfect night to do our annual pre-summer beach trip. This is something we like to try to do every year before the camping season starts and the beach gets busier. This also means the water is still frigid. We don't go to swim . . . though of course it seems inevitable for Kade. Some year he WILL go in a bathing suit and be prepared.
We go more to enjoy the beautiful creation and spend time as a family.
Here are my way to cool . . .growing up way too fast, older boys.

Then came the continual cycle of Kade getting wet (and clean), Kevin chasing him and getting him filthy . . . Kade cleaning off . . . Kevin hucking sand at him. . . and so on and on.
Good times.
Fun! We did a trip around the same time. Nice before the crazy, busy season. I love that last picture in the post--pure joy!
