June in Pictures

The last Saturday in May was a scorcher. Kade had the school baseball tournament which is always a fun day! Jonathan also ran a half marathon that morning which couldn't be fun - even on a cool day! But he likes this kind of thing (though he would prefer much cooler temperatures too!). No pictures of that as we were at the baseball tournament.

Jonathan, Kevin, Kade and I used a P.D Day to spend a day at Canada's Wonderland.  It was a very fun day though I am reminded that I am not as young as I once was and my stomach is not quite as strong . . .but we lasted till an hour before closing.
Kevin and Kade wanted to go on the bumper cars SO bad.  We finally made it there and they were finally convinced that it wasn't the same thrill level as the Leviathan!  They enjoyed it though.  Kevin ended up being the die hard rider - which shocked me b/c he is the kid who gets car sick in the van.  Kade was much more nervous - which also surprised me because his dream is to go sky diving.
Interesting things you learn.
CCS had field day which was a good day and fun to watch - though I kept missing Kylie's events by mere seconds. I did see a bunch - though not on camera.
Konnor enjoyed watching too.
Snack time at home.

We put up a pool and it has been great!  What a great summer to have a pool.  Karter started out being an observer. By the end of the summer he is the one that swims the most by far. What a difference a month or two can make at that age!
Jonathan did his obstacle course race at Springwater - three times.  Crazy. No more words needed.

We tried to take some pictures of us to send to Arianna - our Fresh Air kid that visited the first two weeks of July.
Hopefully she wasn't too scared to come when she saw the pictures ;0)

Kevin had the morning off one day and he spent some time playing with Karter in the sandbox which was very sweet of him. Karter loved it!
We had kittens - 6 of them!
Meika graduated from Grade 8 and Kevin, Kade and I went to celebrate with her.
