A Sunny Sunday Evening

Because these are the sort of things memories are made of . . . .

We packed up the bikes, packed a bit of supper, and headed to the lake

 The weather was amazing and we wanted to take advantage of it and do something special.

 Love these five people!!

 Kade insisted on taking his bathing suit along, which I thought was a bit of a joke.  Even funnier to me was the fact that Kevin ran and grabbed his too.  This is the kid that stands at the edge of the water in August and takes FOREVER to get in b/c it's "too cold".

 I told them there was probably still ice floating in the lake.  They told me it was pretty warm.

 This picture below is not terribly shocking. It's kind of a Kade thing to do.  Just because it's water . . . and because he can. 

But Kevin getting wet too . . .and not just his big toe?!!!

 They both went completely under.  And stayed in the water for about 10-15 minutes.

Crazy.

  And not wanting to leave their dear sister completely out of the experience, they chucked a log right in front of where she was standing at the edge.  She was not so impressed.

 The sunset was beautiful and the whole evening got us all good and excited about summer and camping and beach days.    I am so excited and thankful for these warmer days we've been having. They were long in coming, but they are worth the wait!
