Beach Day!

We spent a day at the beach last week with whoever could come from Jonathan's family.  Though the weather looked iffy in the morning, it turned out to be a beautiful day!
Mason -one seriously cute little dude!
Karter practicing his soccer skills.
Kevin was most willing and proud to hang out with Mason . . . .until his buddies came:)
Summer and Kylie -- this was so cute to see and I'm glad I had the camera in hand at the time!

Karter really LOVED the beach. He was happy almost the entire time until the very end. I thought for sure he would be scared of the water b/c he doesn't even like the bathtub (only the laundry sink), but he had no fear and loved splashing and having fun.
The older kids found this injured seagull and brought it over for us to look at. Mason, a real animal lover, really wanted to get a good look and probably pet it too, but b/c we weren't sure what the bird would do, they kept pulling him away.
He wasn't very happy about it!  It was so cute to see how determined he was to pet it and how sad he was that he wasn't being allowed!
Isaac, Kylie and Faith
Mason and Karter enjoying a little snack.
Trevor and Kade got into the clay and got themselves good and caked with it.
Isaac wanted to be scary too!!
Then they went for another round - this time getting even more coverage!!
And Kade was not the only one getting dirty . . . and Karter wasn't even into the clay!!  All part of a day at the beach!!
Savannah and Kylie
Kylie, Faith, Summer, and Brooke
Though I am not a huge beach person, I am always glad to go for the kids. They absolutely love it. They do not let me relax too much with their swimming further out than I prefer, but it is good to watch them enjoying the sun, sand, water and friends.  And of course I am not without great friends and fellowship too!
Thanks for a fun day girls!
