December in Pictures

 We started off December with our local village parade. We love this parade. It is short and sweet and the candy is great :)  

 There was lots to go around . . though it is still funner to scramble after it like candy depraved children.

 Konnor was fairly stoic about the whole affair.

 Kylie and I picked out a Christmas tree and then Karter and I decorated it a few days later b/c we ran out of time the day we picked it up.  Konnor enjoyed helping too.

 Kevin went to his first high school banquet and had a blast. He came home wishing they had more than one a year.

Then the Christmas break started. The kids spent some time out in the woods. Kylie went along one day. I thought she looked like a little hobo.

We opened stockings on Christmas Day.

 And had some family over for supper and games . . .

 Kylie entertained us with Christmas carols.

 Kylie and Karter enjoying the snow we got.  Kevin and Kade had the cross country skis out too.  I guess its what you call making the best of the situation . . . or optimism.

Kylie LOVES long nails and we found some while in town and glued them on. She was in her glory for a full 24 hours. Then they got annoying and she peeled them all off.  Oh the clicking and tapping that went on in those 24 hours though!!

 Konnor learned to walk.  It makes us all smile when we see him do it! He's pretty proud of himself too!
