Port Burwell 2014

Our week at Port Burwell started out just beautiful and we enjoyed some of the nicest weather we have had in our years at Port Burwell.  Friday and Saturday were perfect beach days and we thoroughly enjoyed them!
Karter and Kylie getting a tiny bit of sun . . .
Karter rarely lays still for too long . . .
Karter asking Kylie to come for a swim with him.
Karter assuring Kylie that he will use force if necessary!
Kylie being a wonderful sister and acquiescing to Karter:)
Hunter and Tim making a sand castle.

Kevin and Kade taking a turn with Karter.
Karter enjoyed the rides . . .  until he got tipped off.  Kevin saved him.
Enjoying the sand, sun, and relaxation.
 Tim and Hunter
Hunter and Tim enjoying their sour keys.
Ken, Jeremy, and Kevin
 Summer, Anna, Meika, and Kylie
 The three seven year olds
 Photo bombed by Uncle Ken!
Kade and Meika taking a turn on the boat.
Uncle Richard taking Tim, Hunter, and Landon for a wild ride.
 Spaghetti!

 Spencer and Karter exploring,
 Marshall
Beach soccer on a cold and windy beach day.
A very serious . . .and very long game of monopoly!
Though the rain did eventually come (about the same time as Ken and Beth) and the cool weather accompanied it, we had a good time.  It was a different year with Piet and Mel not there and Ken and Beth coming the second half. We missed them and look forward to having everyone there the whole time next year!  We look forward to camping and make preparations for what seems like a long time . . .and the days fly by just so fast.  It is wonderful to see the kids loving camp and loving being together . . .and it is good to sit back and relax - a bit:)  I didn't get a lot of pictures aside from the beach, but some of my favorite memories are sitting around the campfire, watching Karter bomb up and down the road on his tricycle, seeing the kids play so well together, morning coffees, cutting beans with Mom and Meika, watching Beth try to walk back to her campsite in the dark, and the fish and chips campfire snack:) Yum.
