Our family won four tickets to see the Jays play in Detroit at our school auction in the Spring. We were fairly excited to win this. The date fell during the time Arianna was with us, so the original plan was that Jonathan would take Kevin, Kade, and Karter. As the date got closer, I received offers from "approved" families to take Arianna and the younger kids and after much internal struggle (not even kidding) I ended up going!
I am so glad I had the opportunity. It was a fun afternoon/evening with our two bigger boys.
We borrowed and bought and ended up looking like legitimate Jays fans (which we are . . but I think we look more dedicated than we maybe are).
The Jays lost royally and the game was pretty bad, but it was still a good time and a good adventure.
Yes, we only have cell phone pictures so selfies it is. Speaking of selfies. They took Arianna's selfy stick from us when we went through the check in thing!!! Bummer. Think of the better quality pictures we could have had . . or the people we could have hit with it if we got mad. (Is that why they took it?? b/c it could be a weapon?) We were all a little annoyed . . and down a selfy stick that didn't belong to us in the first place. We found a pretty close look alike at Canadian Tire when we got home and Arianna told us her sister wouldn't be mad at us :) Another lesson learned.
