COPA 2017

Another beautiful summer day and we were off to the airport.

The watchers .. . not quite as fun as getting to fly.

We hadn't done the COPA flights for a few years b/c it seems to always fall on the same day as other obligations, but this year the day was open . . . and we had Anna over!

Kylie was a bit nervous . . .This is in the plane that the kids can check out and where the instructor teaches them a bit about planes.

It even worked out for Kevin to come along again. Unfortunately they didn't have the option of the helicopter this year b/c they were saving those rides for certain kids.  Kevin ended up riding with a family we know - but he got the front - which is what they all wanted (except Kylie).

Everyone made it back safely and enjoyed themselves, though Kadea and Anna were a little miffed at Kylie because she didn't want the pilot to do any tricks or anything crazy .  . . . which obviously is the most memorable part of going up in the air! They always enjoy the view and how crazy it looks from way up there! You never get sick of that!

A fun morning - a great program - a chance to do something really special (and we didn't have to wait that long at all!) Good times.
