Picture Post . . . With a Few Words

I'm playing catch up the easy way and just dumping my pictures of life's everyday happenings.
At some point in May I picked up two kitties.
Two is better than one . . . b/c two last twice as long as one.
They were somewhat scared already when I picked them up. Not well socialized. I figured we could cure that quickly enough.
Karter was my main man in the socialization department. He loved them and managed to catch them often enough.  But strangely enough our grey kitty got more and more scared.  Strange.
Needless to say. . . . grey kitty is no longer around.  I think she headed for the hills or someplace safer than here.  Black kitty is still around and became more affectionate when she lost her friend.
Karter graduated to a big boy bed in May as well.  He was climbing out of his crib all the time anyway, so I figured it made no difference to move him to a bed.  He'll come out either way.  He does.
I went to Fanshawe Pioneer Village with Kade's class near the end of May. The kids had fun trying out some pioneer activities.  I learned that we have life pretty easy!

My group.
Kevin played in the school baseball tournament.
They had fun:)
Karter grew into his batman pajamas that he got when he was born.   They sure are cute!

Sunday after church.
Karter and Taz.
We had haircut night and Kylie did some extra styling of her own.
I took the kids fishing on their last P.D Day.
(Kevin was in Ottawa)
Karter ended up swimming.  I saved him.  He is a little more cautious now.
Here is the lone catch.
A quick trip to the playground after fishing.
And then a quick swim.
Karter still gets into trouble daily.

(nail polish)
Then I went with Kylie's class to StoryBook Gardens on a very hot day the last week of school.
My group.
The splash pad was perfect!

Kylie's teacher is moving away. Kylie LOVES her very much, so we had to take a final picture for Kylie to put in her room:)
Jonathan participated in Extreme Elgin again.  I signed him up for the normal race a couple months ago, but he left an hour and a half earlier than I did on race day and moved himself up to the "Black Shirts" category . . . the race times two!  I didn't want him to do it . . . but he ended up doing great!
The kids met him on the trail his second time through and ran the last little part with him.
And I had to put this picture on her too . . . b/c it is just that great.  Photo credit goes to Uncle Stephen who was "babysitting" them all during our baseball game.
That's just a bit of our life from mid-May to mid -June.  I'm caught up. For now.
